Parish Background

Our Mission is a Mission Station of the Diocese of the South, under the omophorion of His Eminence, Archbishop Alexander.  We are sponsored by Saint John the Wonderworker Orthodox Church in Atlanta, Georgia, and headed by the rector at Saint John the Wonderworker, Father Gabriel Aldridge.  We are served by Deacon Stephen Tait, a deacon attached to Saint John the Wonderworker, and we have a visiting priest serve Divine Liturgy approximately every other Sunday, and confession as availability allows.

Beginning with eleven people who gathered as often as possible for Reader’s Vespers, Saint Patrick is now a thriving Mission Station, with many inquirers, visitors, and catechumens, along with a growing number of received Orthodox Christians.  Our services are in English and take place in our recently acquired space in the heart of Carrollton, Georgia.  We also offer weekly catechism classes in the Orthodox Faith for catechumens and inquirers, as well as faithful Orthodox Christians who wish to learn more about the faith.

Our Mission community seeks to spread the Faith “once for all delivered to the saints” to the local communities of Carrollton and West Georgia. We love our Lord, God and Savior, Jesus Christ, and His Holy Church, and we welcome all who seek to encounter Him in the Divine Worship and Sacraments of the Orthodox Church.
